Web's Campaign to License E-Mail Patent Making Progress;
Company Contacts Major Providers

Web, Inc., an intellectual property company with key
Internet, software and business method patents in e-mail,
Web creation and e-commerce, comments today the progress
of its 6,631,400 licensing campaign.
General Patent Corporation
International (GPCI), a leading intellectual property
firm and the Company's patent licensing firm, has been
aggressively representing the '400 patent.
To date GPCI has contacted
OPT-IN and bulk e-mail companies and is attempting to
begin negotiating license terms.
The OPT-IN e-mail industry,
within the USA, is made up of hundreds of companies
that encompass small entrepreneurs to large public companies.
E-mail marketing exceeded
$7.3 billion in 2005 according to independent studies
prepared by eMarketer, Jupitermedia, META Group/IMT
Strategies and Forrester Research.
