A Boca Raton, Fla., company has filed
a lawsuit against InfoUSA Inc., alleging patent infringement
on a technology that manages bulk e-mail distribution.
Perfect Web Technologies Inc. is asking
that the Omaha company be restrained from infringing
on the patent. It also asks triple compensatory damages,
with no dollar amount specified. The suit was filed
Thursday in federal court in Miami.
InfoUSA, a database marketing company,
sells e-mail sales lead services, among other things.
InfoUSA did not return calls seeking
comment.
